This year's balloon races were as great as last year's as soon as the weather cleared up. Thanks to the many pilots who allowed me to get right in the thick of it with inflation and takeoff. How exciting to shoot the interior of several balloons as the flames reached high inside the balloons. It was chilly too. It was in the 30s in the morning. Here are a few of my favorite images.
